Can you believe that it has been over FOUR YEARS since we Kickstarted Distilled together? You all helped us launch a dream like no other, and I want to make sure you’re a part of our big FINAL CALL for Distilled as well 🍸 we have one last biiiiiiig box expansion coming for your game of Distilled!
Distilled: Cocktails is the one for you (the fans) 🍹 as I have been listening to what you want and am adding in some of the most requested mechanics!
As an original backer of the base game, I wanted to make sure you have all the details on what we have planned for the campaign!
Just like the base game Distilled, this new expansion integrates rich thematic gameplay as your distillery grows and your spirits gain international acclaim. Distilled: Cocktails is designed by me (Dave Beck) and also by Richard Woods, who was the developer for Distilled and is also the designer of the Cask Strength expansion. We've also continued to collaborate with the talented Erik Evensen to ensure the art and design remain cohesive and compelling. Finally, I’ve invited David Digby back to put you solo players through your paces with a new approach to the solo mode using the Cocktails expansion!
Here is a quick summary of what you’ll find in Cocktails…
We are really shaking things up with Cocktails! A big-box spirited expansion for Distilled. With over 450 components there is A LOT to add to your spirit making! (yep, you heard that right - 450+ components in an expansion!!!)
Your distillery has now been established, and it’s time to bring your famous spirits to the world! Expand the production capacity of your distillery by adding a second washback, providing you with more acclaim and revenue for your brand. Craft unique cocktails, requiring special mixers that are paired with the spirits from your distillery, spreading your international renown around the globe. Perhaps even consider seeking out an esteemed collector, attracting them with your most prestigious spirits to unlock new end game scoring opportunities.

With increased player interaction and fresh new mechanics to expand your distillery, I am really excited for you to discover what Cocktails brings to your gameplay (and your end game scoring!)
I would like to invite you to follow the Kickstarter campaign, to make sure you’re with us on Day One when we launch in exactly two weeks. If you subscribe to the Paverson YouTube channel you will be able to watch a series of upcoming interviews with Richard and myself as we give insight to the design process and what the gameplay entails. Episode 1 will be live on September 8th, so keep an eye out for that.

Luthier Late Pledge Open One More Month
The heading says it all! Just in case you were curious about the next game we're releasing - Luthier, that finished crowdfunding this summer - the pledge manager will be open for one more month! While this is happening, we'll be continuing to work on Distilled: Cocktails, so that it can be as awesome as possible!

Distilled is on BGA!
Did you see the great news! Board Game Arena has officially launched YOUR very own DISTILLED on their platform! For those new to this, BGA is NOT like the other platforms. It is smooth, asynchronous (so you can do it here and there over the course of days or weeks), and is mobile friendly. I'm a believer now, and have been playing lots of Wingspan, Ark Nova, 7 Wonders Duel, and of course, Distilled ;) Maybe I'll see you on there?
I hope you'll take a second to visit BGA and try it out for yourself, since you were one of the original people who believed in my dream. This all happened on BGA mainly thanks to one amazing developer by the name of JB, who I'm eternally grateful to for taking the initiative to make this happen (his handle is c12h22o11_ on BGA, in case you want to thank him, and he's active in our Discord channel too!).
Luthier's Final Hours on Kickstarter! ⏳
The above says it all! It's been wildly successful - and I know that some of you are to thank for that (about 16% are returning Distilled backers, according to Kickstarter's analytics!). Just like we took theme, art, and components seriously in Distilled, we're doing it again in Luthier.
If you have even an inkling of curiosity, I invite you to visit the campaign page - heck, you can simply back for $1 and do your homework later before making a decision. I seriously just appreciate your support in my sophomore effort in this crazy game called...board games. ;)

Hey Distillers! I thought I'd send you a quick update about how things are going with the Luthier Kickstarter, as it has been smokin’ hot, and is about to pass that $549K mark - which is how much you helped us raise with Distilled three years ago!
We're doing it just like Distilled - amazing theme, art, and components and involving YOU the backers in that process of picking instruments and patrons! I'd love to have you on board with this project too! Here's a few highlights:

Holy crap, it is so freakin’ gorgeous. This Pipe Organ Dice Tower is not only part of the super-deluxe all-in pledge, but it also PLAYS MUSIC when you drop the dice! Don’t believe me? I can’t believe Gen Con is already this week! Are you going?
